In light of today’s events on Wall Street, Brian Williams will anchor tonight’s broadcast of “NBC Nightly News” from CNBC’s headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J., TVNewser reports. Today’s Wall Street downturn, prompted by the collapse of Lehmann Brothers and sale of Merrill Lynch, also prompted changes to tonight’s CNBC schedule. “Wall Street Crisis: Is Your Money Safe?,” a two-hour special anchored by Maria Bartiromo and Carl Quintanilla, will air at 7 p.m. EDT, followed by CNBC’s Asia feed to track the opening of the Asian markets.
