NBC Universal’s entertainment co-chairman, Ben Silverman, says he has no plans to leave his current post, contrary to earlier speculation, the Hollywood Reporter says. Silverman, who spoke at the New York Television Festival, says he did not handle the media attention well, labeling himself the “Paris Hilton of NBC.” He affirms he is committed to the position, “a job I want and I’m doing it by choice,” the trade says.

  1. Absolute crap. He’ll be gone within the year, whether it be voluntary or getting his pathetic a$$ fired. Until then, I have zero respect for NBC.
