Several TV shows are moving to New York after a series of tax incentives have made shooting in the Big Apple more affordable, the New York Times reports. A total of 19 prime-time TV shows will be taping in New York this season, up from 12 last year. Spending from these shows has already contributed $957 million to the city’s economy during the last five months, more than double the money from the same time period last year.
