Three people were detained Sunday after police found an aerosol rifle in a trunk of a car at a checkpoint near downtown Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater, site of last night’s Primetime Emmy Awards show, says the Hollywood Reporter. The incident forced some attendees to leave their cars and walk to the curb while police searched the area. The three detainees, who were planning on attending the ceremony, were taken in for questioning.
