ABC has given a put pilot commitment for a U.S. version of the British series “The Inbetweeners” from Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, the Hollywood Reporter says. The duo will write the American version of the show about a group of teens walking the middle ground of high school social cliques. ABC has also given Morris and Beesley a blind script commitment with penalty for an additional project, the trade paper says.
