Lou Dorfsman, famed designer for CBS, died of congestive heart failure, the New York Times reports. He was 90 years old. Under Dorfsman, the network used its own typeface and “the cleverness and subtle beauty of his advertisements were credited with winning over many viewers to both news and entertainment programs on the network,” the paper says.
