CBS has ordered six more scripts of its freshman drama “The Mentalist,” Entertainment Weekly reports. The Simon Baker-starring show is emerging as fall’s only new hit, the magazine says, with a viewing audience averaging 15.4 million viewers. The official order, which should come as early as this week, would up the drama’s season one episode total to 22.
