Katie Couric will anchor a special hour-long edition of the “CBS Evening News” on Nov. 3, the night before the election, TVNewser reports. The hour will feature extended reporting and analysis from CBS News’ contributors. An election retrospective will also be featured. Couric will put in more overtime on election night when she hosts her webcast, which immediately follows her CBS broadcast, to be streamed live on CBSNews.com and CNET.com.
