Network executives are bracing for quick result on Election Night with Democrat Barack Obama leading in most of the polls, Reuters reports. If Obama takes some key eastern states, “that means basically the story’s going to be over by 8:30 p.m., so then they’ve got to decide what they’re going to do for the rest of the evening,” news analyst Andrew Tyndall tells the wire service. Such an outcome would be marked contrast to the last two elections, in which the results weren’t known when most viewers went to sleep.
