Oct 24, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Broadcast and cable news networks are looking at the big picture for their election night coverage—-literally, Daily Variety reports. Among the news outlets that will be broadcasting in New York, ABC plans to use its 43rd Street JumboTron, and Fox News Channel will use a giant Astro Vision monitor across the street. Nearby, NBC plans to project a U.S. map with election results onto the skating rink at Rockefeller Plaza, the trade paper says. CBS also plans on airing a one-hour edition of the “CBS Evening News With Katie Couric” the night before Election Day, Variety says.
