SAG, AFTRA Negotiate Commercials Contracts Together

The Screen Actors Guild’s national board has agreed to proposed conditions that will bring the union back together with AFTRA to their Phase One joint-bargaining agreement for new commercials contract negotiations, the Hollywood Reporter says. The decision comes after a bitter conflict between the two during their contract negotiations with the AMPTP, in which SAG is yet to reach a resolution with producers, the trade says.
