Producers Dennis Erdman and Clark Peterson have acquired the TV format rights to French-Canadian comedy series “Taxi 0-22,” the Hollywood Reporter says. The show is about an outspoken and politically incorrect taxi driver who harbors many prejudices despite the fact that his son is gay. “The comedy and humanity in this universal character should truly resonate with an American audience,” Peterson told the Reporter.
