A fixture on the Chicago TV scene for 40 years, Warner Saunders is planning to retire in May as an anchor for NBC-owned WMAQ-TV, the Chicago Tribune reports. “I am very anxious to pursue my passion—diversity education,” Saunders tells the Tribune. “I expect to give it more time and energy after June.” He has been been conducting diversity seminars part time for years.
