World Series Viewership Expected to Fall

Viewership for this year’s World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Philadelphia Phillies is expected to go down, Daily Variety reports. While the two final teams playing are from large markets, they both lack big-name appeal on a national level to draw significantly large numbers for Fox unless the series is “pushed to the limit,” the trade says.

  1. As a life-long Red Sox fan, I say give the new kids a chance. I, for one, will be watching each game, as we all should.

  2. Red is right. These games will rock..a very competitive and compelling match up that does not start with the words “New York” or end with “Los Angeles” can command an attractive audience with great baseball. And that should be the ticket for this series.
