ABC News anchor Charles Gibson will sit down with President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush for an interview this holiday weekend, the Hollywood Reporter says. The interview will take place at Camp David during the same week that ABC airs Barbara Walters’ interview with President-Elect Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama, the reporter says.

  1. That sounds like a good idea. Then Old Charlie can actually learn what the Bush Doctrine is and won’t have to embarrass himself by looking like an ass in the future.
This guy lost all of my respect when he tried to sabotage Sarah Palin. I don’t know why Bush is wasting his time with such a hack. I certainly don’t watch his show anymore. Maybe this will give President Bush a chance to speak to the liberals in TV land. I think that the conservatives have turned off the liberal-biased news and look for their news on the web and in newspapers that actually report the news.

  2. After watching Obama stumble more in the last two weeks than he did in two years, I’m seeing how strong Bush has been over the last 8 years, even though most of the media continues to bash him. So far Obama is doing everything by committee and has no details on anything. That’s a great approach for a campaign, but won’t cut it in the White House. He’s already backing off some of the tax pledges. And who’s going to pay for those 2.5 million jobs? I guess the money will just crop up? Hit the high earners and business for more taxes so they can pass that cost on to me, the middle class, in the form of higher prices at the register. Can you say indirect tax?
