Fox is trying to restore “24” to its hit status with a two-hour movie this Sunday before season seven starts in January, USA Today reports. The network is battling a long delay caused by the writers strike and poor reviews for the series’ previous season. “This is a legacy show, a cornerstone show for the network,” Fox chairman Peter Liguori tells the paper. “Getting ’24’ back as relevant as possible is critical to the launch of the show.”
