NBC’s “Knight Rider” is retooling its creative direction and ejecting series regulars Sydney Tamiia Poitier, Yancey Arias and Bruce Davison beyond the show’s initial 13-episodes, the Hollywood Reporter says. “We’re moving away from the terrorist-of-the-week formula and closer to the original, making it a show about a man and his car going out and helping more regular people, everymen,” executive producer and showrunner Gary Scott Thompson tells the trade paper.

  1. How about they get rid of the stupid CSI/Minority Report “computers can do anything just watch this hologram model of a bullet reconstruction” stuff and go back to people and action. No one over the age of 10 was buying any of that anyway.
