Media Buyers Praise CBS, Pan NBC

Media buyers say CBS’s “The Mentalist” has helped the network challenge ABC in adult-viewing leadership, while disappointing ratings for “Heroes” have disrupted NBC’s efforts to bring younger viewers to shows like “Chuck” and “My Own Worst Enemy,” Mediaweek reports. Additionally, Fox has performed inconsistently despite highly rated shows such as “House” and “Bones,” Mediaweek says.
