NBC’s Helena, Mont., affiliate KTVH-TV, which has already made the switch to digital television, announced it’s laying off four employees and canceling its weekend local news telecasts, the Helena Independent Record reports. “We gave up weekend news because it just wouldn’t pay for itself,” said general manager Kathy Ernst. “All of our stations have had to cut back, and the only thing I could cut was weekend news.”
