NBC to Give Prime-Time ‘Deal’ Rest

Nov 26, 2008  •  Post A Comment

During its announcement of its January schedule, NBC revealed that it is taking the prime-time version of “Deal or No Deal” off the schedule for a rest, says Daily Variety. When the show leaves the air after the holidays, the syndicated daytime version of “Deal” will be the only regularly-airing version. The trade says the prime-time version will be used as a “utility player,” airing during the holidays or when it produces stunt-filled special episodes.
