Plans for a series about how Batman’s sidekick Robin grew up have been scrapped by the CW and Warner Bros. TV, Daily Variety reports. “The Graysons” had been given a put pilot commitment, but “the concept didn’t fit the current strategy for the Batman franchise,” the studio said in a statement.

Good! I thought this was a bad idea from the start. If you’re going to do Batman, just DO Batman.
Instead, let’s do a Desperate Housewives time shift and jump ahead several years to star Tom Welling as Superman: Man of Steel in place of Smallville!
Also bring back Laura Vandervoort full time as Supergirl!
