Representatives of the Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers will meet officially for the first time since summer on Thursday, thought no promises are being made about the two finding a resolution to their contract dispute, the Hollywood Reporter says. Although the Guild may being taking steps toward calling a strike should a resolution not be found, some New York and regional leaders say the new media terms of the contract at the center of the disagreement are not bad enough to call a full strike, the trade says.
