Acclaimed hip-hop band the Roots may be Jimmy Fallon’s house band when he takes over “Late Night” from Conan O’Brien next year, Entertainment Weekly reports. The magazine looks to a recently yanked YouTube clip of producer-drummer Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson talking about the announcement and an also-yanked post about the gig on the band’s Web site as evidence.
