Jane Espenson, a former writer-producer for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” is defending Joss Whedon’s new Fox series, “Dollhouse,” from the negative attention it has been receiving in light of forced production breaks, Sci Fi Wire reports. Espenson, who serves as a consulting producer for the new Whedon series, said, “I think people are very confident now that everyone is on the same page with what the show is, how amazing it can be, and I think that a lot of this has been overblown,” according to the site.
