CBS was sued by a shareholder claiming the company and its executives made false and misleading statements before taking a $14 billion charge against fourth-quarter earnings, Dow Jones reports. The law firm Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins LLP filed the suit representing the City of Pontiac (Mich.) General Employees’ Retirement System and is seeking class-action status.
