Football in 3-D Overcomes Glitches

After a couple of satellite glitches blacked out the picture and a couple of quick camera moves had viewers pulling off their special glasses, the first 3-D broadcast of an NFL football game scored a touchdown with viewers, the Associated Press reports. “It’s amazing,” Chad Ahrendt, a 35-year-old writer from Los Angeles who attended a screening in a Hollywood theater, told the wire service. “Technically they obviously have a little ways to go, but once they work out all the kinks, it’s definitely the new era of television.”
