Dec 11, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully will be added to the National Association of Broadcasters’ hall of fame, Daily Variety reports. Scully joined the Dodgers in 1950 when they were still in Brooklyn, followed them to Los Angeles and has been with them since, in addition to announcing 25 World Series and 12 All-Star Games, the trade says. Scully will be added to NAB’s Broadcasting Hall of Fame during the organization’s Show Radio Luncheon on April 21, the paper says.

  1. Any and all recognition for Vin is a good thing.
I had the pleasure of working with him at CBS Sports. He is a consumate Pro and a fine human being.
There are not enough awards around to appropriately recognize his many, positive attributes.
Take a bow, Vin and continue, please continue.
