Nexstar Communications may be involved in another retransmission fight with small cable operators in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where agreements are set to expire on Dec. 31, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Nexstar CEO Perry Sook said the cable companies serve a few thousand customers in the market, where Nexstar owns WBRE-TV, an NBC affiliate, and WYOU-TV, a CBS affiliate.
