The U.K. series “Merlin” has been greenlit for a second season, Daily Variety reports. The show, from the BBC, Shine and FremantleMedia Enterprises, was purchased by NBC for U.S. broadcast and has already been picked up in 112 territories, the trade says. NBC committed to the show early in its production, Variety notes.
