Warner Bros. Sues CBS for $49 Mil. in ‘Men’ Fees

Warner Bros. sued CBS claiming the network owes it more than $49 million in license fees the network agreed to pay for the hit sitcom “Two and a Half Men,” TMZ reports. TMZ says that according to the suit, CBS paid Warner Bros. about $750,000 an episode for the show, but was promised that it would get more if the show drew high ratings. CBS hasn’t paid the extra fee, the suit claims. A CBS spokpesman. A CBS spokesman was unaware of the complaint, says The Hollywood Reporter, which notes such disputes are rare and that CBS and Warner Bros. have other close business ties, including co-ownership of The CW.
