NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker admits that NBC has had a “disappointing fall,” but takes comfort in the critical acclaim some of the network’s shows have received, including recent Golden Globe nominations, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Zucker said in a Q&A, “We obviously have some ability to produce good programs; we just need to do more,” according to the trade. Zucker also touched upon the network’s decision to keep Jay Leno at NBC through a new prime-time show and confirmed that NBC Entertainment Co-Chairman Ben Silverman will remain at NBC, B&C says.
