ABC Slashing Oscar Ad Price

ABC is cutting the price of a commercial in its broadcast of the Academy Awards to $1.4 million, Advertising Age reports. The price for an ad on the Feb. 22 telecast is down from $1.7 million this year, the first time the broadcast will accept ads from movie studios for their new releases. ABC declined to comment on the pricing.
