Commercials for products like the PedEgg, the ShamWow and the Snuggie, once seen mainly in the late-night infomercial ghetto, are showing up in primetime in the Washington market, the Washington Post reports. The opportunity for these companies to air in primetime come as auto, financial services and other more traditional advertisers pull funds out of TV, the paper says.
