Former coach Bill Cowher says he will be staying in the broadcast booth with CBS rather than taking a new job on an NFL sideline, USA Today reports. Despite numerous reports linking Cowher with teams with coaching vacancies, “there were no discussions that got into much substance,” he said. The paper also says Matt Millen, who built the Detroit Lions team that finished the season 0-16, will be joining NBC’s Super Bowl coverage, returning to a promising career as a TV analyst.
