Aubrey Plaza, a player for the Upright Citizens Brigade, has been hired for a role on Amy Poehler’s untitled NBC comedy, the Hollywood Reporter says. NBC also disclosed that Poehler will play the deputy chairman of the department of parks and recreations in Pawnee, Indiana, while Plaza will play an intern who shadows her. The Greg Daniels-created series, still untitled, will be filmed in the same mockumentary style as “The Office,” says the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
