The FCC is reviewing Sunday night’s telecast of the Golden Globe Awards on NBC after receiving various complaints, the Los Angeles Times reports. According to FCC spokeswoman Edie Herman, the FCC has received 18 complaints about the telecast, particularly after director Darren Aronofsky was caught on camera making an obscene gesture to actor Mickey Rourke during the latter’s acceptance speech, the newspaper says. A representative for NBC confirmed the gesture did air on the live telecast, although it was censored for West Coast audiences, the Times adds.
