Heartland Stations Faring Better

Television stations in the country’s heartland are faring better than in other regions and are giving some hope for 2009, TVNewsday reports. Because the recession is shallower in the central U.S. states, stations in the region should perform better than those on the coasts or the Rust Belt, the publication says.
