TV’s top rated show, “American Idol” is tweaking its formula to keep its fans tuning in, USAToday shows. A fourth judge has been added to the mix, there will be an extra week in holiday and more group performances. Fox executives are also hoping to find singers with more personality than last year’s “very borin 12 finalists, the paper says.
