L.A. Might Get NFL Team

Jan 27, 2009  •  Post A Comment

The San Diego Chargers, who used to call Los Angeles home, may be returning, a move that would put an NFL team in the No. 2 TV market, the Los Angeles Times reports. The Chargers have hired a marketing company in L.A., which hasn’t had a team since 1994, and their stadium deal contains a three-month window that would allow them to relocate, the paper says.

  1. Sorry to burst your balloon, but if you check, I think you will find that the Chargers are merely using this as a red herring to pursuade San Diego to build a new stadium. Meanwhile the long-suffering taxpayers are fed up with the whole deal, and many of us wish the team would actually GO SOMEWHERE; like Las Vegas, for example.
Then we could watch the games on TV and not have to dole out millions to the rich owners.
