NBC has ordered a pilot for “Day One,” a futuristic drama from Jesse Alexander, a writer-producer on the network’s “Heroes,” the Hollywood Reporter says. The series will follow a group of people that survive events of global devastation and must then work to rebuild society while exploring what exactly happened, the trade says. The project will be produced by Universal Media Studios, the Reporter says.
