National Telecommunications and Information Administration administrator Meredith Attwell Baker has named Karl Nebbia to succeed her, Broadcasting & Cable reports. He will take over the agency responsible for the DTV-to-analog converter-box coupon program that has come under criticism from the incoming Obama administration. Nebbia is currently the associate administrator for NTIA’s office of spectrum management.
