The Screen Actors Guild’s MembershipFirst faction has issued a statement supporting embattled national executive director Doug Allen and calling for a contract vote, the Hollywood Reporter says. Meanwhile, SAG denied a report Thursday that its leaders had dropped a plan to issue a strike authorization vote, Daily Variety reports.
