Susan Sarandon will appear opposite George Clooney in an upcoming episode of “ER” as part of the series’ final season, E! Online reports. Although no details for Sarandon’s guest role have surfaced, nor any points for Clooney’s return to the series, the two filmed scenes together last week in Burbank, according to Kristin Dos Santos, who cites unnamed sources at the set. Sarandon last appeared in an NBC series when she guest starred on “Friends,” the site notes.
