Sony’s fourth-quarter earnings fell 95% on a combination of declining television revenue within its electronics division, falling sales from its Sony Pictures Television unit and a strengthening yen, Daily Variety reports. With Bravia TV declining during the holiday season, Sony Electronics had a net loss, compared with a year-earlier gain of more than $2 billion, the newspaper says.
