A former WBZ-TV, Boston, meteorologist now freelancing for WFXT-TV, was charged with driving under the influence, the Boston Globe reports. Melissa Bell nearly hit a State Police cruiser while speeding and appeared “completely incoherent” and “highly intoxicated,” the paper says, citing the police report.
