Boston’s major television stations are opting to wait until the delayed June 12 deadline to switch to digital-only transmission, the Boston Globe reports. A number of New England stations, from the CBS and NBC affiliates in Providence, R.I. to Burlington, Vt.’s ABC and Fox affiliates, switched to digital on the original Feb. 17 transition date, the paper reports.
