Initial reports from some of the 421 TV stations that switched to digital signals on Feb. 17 suggest that some of the fears about the transition may have been overblown, with the FCC saying it received fewer calls—28,000—than they had expected, TelevisionWeek reports. According to the National Association of Broadcasters, stations are receiving an average of 50 to 200 calls from viewers with transition questions, the Hollywood Reporter says.
