The Dallas-area’s television stations are keeping their analog transmissions, although a few Spanish-language stations didn’t return calls for comment, the Dallas Morning News reports. Managers at local stations say the cost of maintaining both analog and digital signals is justified to maintain viewership, since Dallas-area viewers reportedly rank among the least ready in the U.S. to switch to digital-only, the newspaper says.
