NBC Universal has selected Panasonic P2 camcorders for all of the NBC O&O stations in addition to CNBC and Telemundo, TVNewsday reports. The AG-HPX-300 camcorder goes for about $10,000, much less than other traditional cameras used by stations, and can shoot in a variety of formats, the site says.
