With News Corp. President and COO Peter Chernin leaving his post in June, the company loses a ‘Solomonic’ figure who mediated disputes between units at the media conglomerate, TVWeek reports. Some News Corp. executives said they couldn’t think of a unit at the company that would fare better with Mr. Chernin gone.
